Ten bands will play an average of 5 songs for 20-25 minutes. We will play live music in Derby by the light of the moon! Drinks will be available from the club bar, and food will be available from a food truck. Bring all your friends and family for a great all-community event.

The Derby Cup is one of the Kimberley region’s premier social and sporting events, held annually at the Derby Racecourse and hosted by the West Kimberley Turf Club.

Known as the BEST DAY on Derby’s social calendar, the event draws crowds from across Western Australia for an unforgettable day of country racing.

Combining exciting thoroughbred racing with Fashions on the Field, local hospitality, live entertainment and a vibrant race day atmosphere, the Derby Cup has become a highlight of the regional calendar and a celebration of community, style and country racing tradition.

Every Saturday morning, the CWA Cottage gardens provide a shady space for the community to get together and share their locally made food and goods. Everyone is welcome, family friendly with children's activities.
